RUSSIA DAY 3

11.24 pm / travelling

I realised I never posted day three of my Russia trip in May. So here it is! We didn't do much, but I think it was my favourite day anyway. After checking out of the hotel in the morning we headed to the Hermitage Museum, where we spent a few hours. On our way to the harbour and our ferry we saw a little more of the town, but I decided to only show pictures from the Hermitage.

The Hermitage Museum really was an amazing place. There is so much to see it's almost impossible to do it, it would take years! Everything is so big, beautiful, detailed, just simply amazing. It's definitely a place where you can easily spend a whole day, and I wish we would have had more time there.

We had a guide with us, so we just had to follow her around and listen to her tell us about the place. In the pictures above, you can see the Peacock Clock and one of Leonardo da Vinci's paintings.

If you ever visit Saint Petersburg, definitely try to get the Hermitage into your schedule. You won't regret it, I promise.
