JAPAN CANDY BOX ⎪MARCH 2019

Jag har redan länge vetat att det finns olika prenumerationsboxar där man varje månad får hem ett paket fyllt med japansk godis och snacks, men jag har alltid varit lite skeptisk inför dem. De som känner mig kan inte ha missat min kärlek för Japan, och det är kanske lite förvånande att jag först nu första gången provar något sånt här. Jag bestämde mig för att beställa hem en box från Japan Candy Box, och oj, vad positivt överraskad jag blev!
Jag gjorde min beställning i slutet av februari, vilket betydde att min första box skulle vara mars månadens box, vars tema var "birthday celebration". Det stod att det kommer bland annat finnas en produkt av Hello Kitty och Disney, men annars var innehållet hemligt. Paketet skickades iväg endast några timmar senare och på posten fanns det två veckor senare. Någon smäll såg det ut att ha fått på vägen, men sönder var det inte.
I boxen fanns 10 olika produkter. Två av produkterna var lite mer som kex, tre var saltiga och fem var söta. De var alla ganska små, dock vet jag inte om det är vanligt för japanska produkter eller om det är meningen att denna box har lite mindre produkter. I boxen kom en lapp där det på engelska stod vad varje produkt är, så trots att jag inte förstod ett ord av det som stod på själva förpackningarna, så visste jag ändå vad det var jag åt.
Jag tyckte faktiskt om varje produkt i denna box, men min favorit var absolut chipsen i den stora rosa påsen (stick potato). De hade både en saltig och en sur(!) smak, som kommer från umeboshi, som är mjölksyrad och torkad ume frukt. Det var väldigt förvirrande att första gången äta det, men det var också jätte gott. Grönsakschipsen var också överraskande goda. Det jag tyckte minst om var det en meter långa cola och soda snöret, och kexen som smakade exakt lika som Oreo.
Nu väntar jag på aprils box, vars tema är "sakura surprise". Är väldigt intresserad av vad den boxen innehåller, och hoppas innehållet är lika gott som den här boxens innehåll! Har ni någonsin provat på någon prenumerationsbox som denna?
ENG/ I've already for a while known about all these different subscription boxes where you can get Japanese candy and snacks, but I've bever tried them before. Last month I decided to treat myself a little and make an order, to see if they're any good. I subscriped to a box called Japan Candy Box, in late February, which meant my first box I would receive would be the March box. Its theme was "birthday celebration". The content was a surprise, but it did say on the website that it contains products from Disney and Hello Kitty, along with others. I had no idea what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised!
In the box were ten different products, of which five were sweets, three were savoury and two were more like (sweet) cookies. There was a sheet in the box that said what the box contains, so I knew what I'm eating although I had no idea what it said on the actual products.
I actually liked all of the products, but my favourite was definitely the stick potato chips in the pink bag. They had a salty flavour, but also a sour(!) flavour, which comes from umeboshi, which is fermented ume fruits. The vegetable chips were also surprisingly good. My least favourite was the one meter long cola and coda string, and the cocoa cookies, which tasted exactly like Oreos.
Now I'm waiting for the April box, which theme is "sakura surprise". I'm very excited to see what the box contains and I hope the snacks in it are just as good as these were. Have you ever subscribed to a subscription box like this?
What I Got For Christmas 2018

Då var julen än en gång över och vi börjar nå slutet av detta år. Spenderade en lugn jul hemhemma utan något extra, tittade på barnprogram de första timmarna innan det var dags att besöka gravgården, äta och öppna julklappar. Tänkte att jag även i år skulle visa lite vad jag fick för julklappar. Har ju gjort dessa inlägg redan i flera år, dels för att jag tycker om att titta tillbaka på dem och dels för att jag tycker om att se vad andra fått. Jag är jätte tacksam för allt jag fick och till alla som lagt tid och pengar att hitta på något till mig.

Jag hade en väldigt kort lista i år, presentkort och några böcker. Presenterna jag fick var sådant jag önskade mig, lite nödvändigheter men också lite annat. Fick bland annat presentkort, en badhandduk med Mårran, sängkläder, en kalender, burk för kattgodis, pennor från Muji och träskedar.

En sak jag har saknat men inte haft ett tillräckligt stort behov av att jag satt mina egna pengar på det, är en gryta, som jag nu fick. Jag tror jag kommer äta en hel del grytor resten av vintern. Av min mamma fick jag också värmeljushållare, i vilka man kan ha både värmeljus och vanliga, höga ljus.

End of The Year Book Haul
Äntligen får jag detta inlägg publicerat! Book haulen jag skulle publicera redan innan jul. Köpte en del av dessa böcker på Black Friday för en lite billigare slant, medan några var resultatet av ett snabbt besök till bokaffären.

Hälften av dessa böcker är faktiskt böcker jag väntat på redan långt innan de utgavs - They Both Die at the End, Turtles All the Way Down och Mielikuvituspoikaystävä. The Hate U Give var inspirerad av Black Lives Matter rörelsen och var troligtvis en av de populäraste YA romanerna från förra året. Är väldigt glad över att den äntligen står på min bokhylla. L'art de La Simplicite bokens pärm fångade min uppmärksamhet under ett snabbt besök till bokhandeln, absolut en av mina favoriter. Började läsa Turtles All the Way Down, men kom inte riktigt in i den. Har hört mycket bra om den men bestämde mig för att ställa den tillbaka på bokhyllan och börja läsa en annan bok istället.

What I Got For Christmas 2017

Precis som tidigare år, så är jag nöjd och mätt efter julen och julmiddagen. Julkänslan saknades i år, men trots det hade jag en riktigt bra jul. Hoppas ni också haft det! Tänkte idag fortsätta min tradition och visa lite vad jag fått i julklapp.
Christmas is over and I am very full and content after dinner and Christmas itself. It didn't really feel like Christmas this year, but I still had a good time and I hope you all did too. Today I am continuing my tradition and showing you what I got for Christmas this year.
Eftersom jag ska flytta i slutet av denna vecka (!!!!), så fick jag i princip endast saker jag behöver när jag flyttar. Hit hör hushållsapparater som mikro, dammsugare, elvisp och min personliga favorit - mixern jag hade önskat!
I am moving at the end of this week (!!!), so this year I pretty much only got things I need when I move. I got a few home appliances - a microwave, vacuum cleaner, mixer and my personal favourite - the blender I had wished for!
Jag fick också en hel del mindre saker för köket, som bland annat salladsbestick, potatisstöt, brödkniv, ett rivjärn och burkar för matförvaring. Fick också en hel del handdukar och grytlappar. Är otroligt tacksam över allt jag fått, i synnerhet eftersom jag nu endast behöver köpa möbler till lägenheten, så jag sparar både tid och pengar.
I also got a bunch of smaller things for the kitchen, like salad servers, potato masher, bread knife, grater and some food containers. I also got a few towels and oven mitts. I'm incredibly thankful for everything I got, especially since I now basically only have to buy furniture for the apartment, so I'm saving both time and money.
Och självklart fick jag även några böcker. Tre böcker från The Mortal Instruments serien av Cassandra Clare - City of Ashes, City of Glass och City of Fallen Angels. Dessutom fick jag So Much I Want to Tell You av Anna Akana, Vad heter ångest på spanska av Michaela Von Kügelgen och Illuminae av Amie Kaufman och Jay Kristoff.

Jag nämde några inlägg sedan att jag planerade att börja på en bullet journal. Detta innebar självklart också inskaffande av lite nytt skrivmaterial, som jag nu tänkte dela med mig.

Jag gjorde en beställning till jeminalovespaper i augusti, då jag beställde två tombow brush pennor (röd och svart). Det är förvånansvärt svårt att lära sig få texten sådär jätte vacker, men ännu nån dag ska jag få det! Som jag också nämnde tidigare, så besökte jag och Susanna butiken några veckor sedan, då jag köpte två ark av Jeminas klistermärken, och en drawing pen.
/ In August I ordered two tombow brush pens in red and black, from jeminalovespaper. It's surprisingly hard to write with them to get the beautiful text you want, but one day I will master it! I also visited her shop with Susanna a few weeks ago. There I bought two sheets of her stickers, as well as a drawing pen.
Från Tiger köpte jag även en skrivplatta. Har letat efter en i månader, äntligen hittade jag en! Och sist men inte minst, min bullet journal från Adlibris.

When you own about 80 unread books, what is the one thing you need more of? Yes, that's right. More books. I placed an order consisting of five books earlier this summer, and besides that I've also bought some other books here and there. All of these books are bought between April and July, except for The Sun Is Also a Star which I bought already in January.

Lily Collins is my biggest woman crush, favourite actress and overall a person I really love. When I heard she's writing a book, oh you have no idea how excited I got! I decided to wait a bit until I bought it, so when I decided to buy some books this was the first one I added to the basket. I haven't read it yet, but it's next on my TBR.
I read Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children earlier this year (link to review, opens in a new window), and when I went to Helsinki a few days after, I decided to look for the other two books in the series. I found them, and now they're sitting on my bookshelf waiting to be read. As I mentioned in the review, I'm excited to see how the story continues. Not sure when I'll be getting to these though.
Look at this one! It's the 20th anniversary, Slytherin edition of the first Harry Potter book. There's some information about the house, but otherwise it's just the regular book on the inside. The outside though, so so so beautiful. And so hard to get a good picture of.
This one has been on my "to buy" list for a very long time. I wasn't familiar with this book until summer 2015 when youtuber Luke Cutforth announced he needs help funding his idea to make this book into a movie, and ever since I've wanted to read it. I finally own it, and I'm excited to read it in the near future, hopefully before the movie is finished.

Half of my summer holiday has gone and I've spent so much money too. I spent most of June at my grandmother's house, but I've also been in Helsinki for a week, and a day in Tallinn, Estonia. Thought I would make a post showing you most of the things I've bought, kind of like a June haul.

I found this really nice cardigan with 3/4 sleeves at H&M in Lohja. They didn't have it in black in my size, so I bought this brown-greyish one. Direct link.
I went to New Yorker for the first time when I was in Tallinn, where I bought this top with a dreamcatcher on it.
In Helsinki I found a super cute top with a cat in glasses, I just had to get it. From New Yorker I also bought this top with straps.
I went to Mango in Helsinki to kill some time, and I found a new pair of jeans! These were originally 29,99€. I also found a pair of some loose trousers that I think are perfect for summer days.
From New Yorker I also bought a thin sweater. In the other picture you can see a bunch of different stuff. A pair of sunglasses and an owl decoration from Tallinn, Måns Zelmerlöw's new album which I pre-ordered in the beginning of June, a solid cleanser for the beautyblender from the ferry and a glass jar with a straw.
Sally Hansen Luxe Lace 820 Crochet nail polish, which I got for -50%. I got two Bella Oggi nail polishes from their Lo Smalto collection, shades 33 and 16, I believe. Maybelline NY Colorama, shade 654, and Wild & Mild smoothing base coat. I also found a remover pen to remove nail polish from your skin and cuticles, and a Lemon Drop EOS lip balm from the ferry.

I am aware that this is like the only thing I blog about nowadays, but I've really been trying to keep my blog updated although I haven't really had inspiration. I do have a lot of ideas now though and I'm already working on some of them!
I went to the lovely capital city of our country the other day since I had a doctor's appointment there, and I bought some stuff while I was there. Most of the things were on sale and at KICKS I used my gift card, so I didn't spend as much money as I would have otherwise.
Love, Rosie and Forrest Gump DVD's - two of my favourite movies! 14€ and 5€ from Anttila. I seem to be the last one to buy one, but since everyone likes it I decided to buy a beautyblender too,(review on it's way!), 16,90€. I also bought an angled cheek brush from KICKS, 13,90€.
Essie's "Mint Candy Apple" nail polish, 10,90€ from Anttila, and 4 nail polishes from the Depend Garden Dreams Collection (shade nr. 4055, 4057, 4059, 4063), 3€ each from KICKS. All of the colours are so beautiful, I don't even want to use them.
I went to the Body Shop and decided to buy hand cleanse gel - strawberry and coconut, and an Aloe calming toner for sensitive skin. Do you want a review of it? All of these were around 4€ originally, thanks to the 3 for 2 sale I got all three for 8,40€.

WHAT I GOT FOR CHRISTMAS 2014

Merry Christmas everyone! Here in Finland Christmas is technically over already, since we celebrate it on the 24th. I don't know why, but it doesn't feel like Christmas at all this year. Either way, I've had a really nice day with my family, and I hope you all had too! Or will have, depending on when you celebrate.

I got The Fault in Our Stars and Divergent on DVD just like I wanted. I actually didn't ask for much this year, so I got everything I wanted too.
If I've noticed something these past years, it's that my family likes to buy me One Direction merch I don't even want. This year I only asked for FOUR, but my family thought it would be fun to also buy me the 2015 calendar, a notebook and a towel.
I got a box of denim nail polish and some decorations from my friend. My mum also bought me glitter nail polish (278 from Essie) and touch screen gloves. My step dad bought me a small speaker for my phone. I asked for a Harry Potter book (yes, I am one of those people who hasn't read the books), so my aunt bought me one.
My mum and step dad bought me a new computer! I've pretty much been waiting for my old one to stop working for over a year now, so they thought it's time for me to get a new one. I also got an antivirus program and an office package (with word, powerpoint etc.)
I also got a mug that changes colour when you pour something hot in it, a shirt, sweater. chocolate, money, a gift card to Kicks and one to a local clothing store. I think that's all! I am so greatful and happy for everything I got. What did you get for Christmas?
I SPENT TOO MUCH MONEY

I went to Helsinki about a week and a half ago. I met Susanna on Sunday, we just walked around and went to stores and I bought some stuff I didn't really need. I spent the night at hers and on Monday we went to Linnanmäki (an amusement park). Here's what I bought on Sunday.
I bought two nail polishes, Maybelline Color Show Blackout and Chic Chartreuse from the Bleached Neons collection. Because of these two I got a nail file for free. I also bought a Pink Punch Baby Lips Moisturizing Lip Palm.
I kinda hate myself for buying the flower crown but...... I also got new headphones because the ones I had actually broke just a few days before I left.
I bought a Viva la Diva Brow Bar from Kicks. It has an eyebrow pen and brush, shaping wax, shadow (light and dark), a tweezer, highlighter cream and powder. I also needed a waterproof eyeliner for then next day (and you can't have too many eyeliners anyway), so I bought the Rimmel Exaggerate Eyeliner.
I bought a tongue piercing from Ninja for 8,50€. I didn't take a picture because it's already in my mouth and I hate taking pictures of my tongue, but it's just a normal piercing with a blue diamond.
Aaand I think that's it. Lately I've started to blog more about like "beauty" stuff and I'm not sure if I like it or not. What do you think? I do have a blog post idea (not related to beauty) that I'm gonna try to get done before school starts next Tuesday.
THINGS I'VE BOUGHT AND LIKED THIS SUMMER

These are some things I've bought in the past three months - May, June and July. Instead of showing these same products in a June/July favourites post, I decided to just add a thumbs up in the corner of the picture of my favourite products.
I felt like I needed a new phone case so I bought this super cute owl one. It looks and feels like hard material when it's on your phone, but it's actually a bit of a softer material. 2,75€ from miniinthebox.
Valio Eila Latte maitokahvijuoma This is my new favourite drink! You can find these original ones, mint flavoured and caramel flavoured in most grocery stores in Finland. The one in my picture is 1 litre, but there's also smaller ones. They cost around 2-4€ I believe.
I only have one pair of shoes and I use them every day no matter what the weather is, so the ones I bought 3 or 4 years ago are not exactly the best ones anymore. These ones are a bit different than my old ones but hopefully I'll learn to love these as much as the old ones. 99,90€ from Union Five.
Cutrin Chooz Professional Refreshing Dry-shampoo This is the first dry shampoo I've found that I actually like. It feels like my hair is somewhat clean and it doesn't really feel like I have anything in my hair. What sucks is that you can pretty much only buy this from hair salons, I bought it from Prisma but the nearest one is like an hour and a half away. Hopefully I can either find this one online or find another one I like because I need a new one soon. 100 ml 6-7€.
I've wanted/needed a new wallet for almost two years now, and I found this one in Estonia. At first I wasn't too sure about it since it's so big, but I've actually started to like it because I can also fit both my phone and keys in it, and sometimes if I don't need a bag with me I can just take my wallet and put everything in it. I bought it for 10€ from Tallinn.
Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer from Maybelline I've repurchased this one probably like five times now. It's suitable for all skin types, sensitive skin too - which is great. One thing I'm not really too happy about is that you might get a bit too much product out of it when you twist, but after using it for a few months it doesn't happen that often. There could also be a bit more product in it. 10,90€.
Midnight Sparkles Nail Polish from Tanya Burr If you watch YouTube videos you've probably heard of Tanya Burr at least once. A few months ago she launched her own lip and nail collection, with some really nice looking lip glosses and nail polishes. My friend ordered some things for herself and she was also kind enough to order this nail polish for me, since I couldn't. I'ts really hard to get the colour on picture, but it's a really nice dark purple colour. I'll make sure to blog more about it when I've tried it.

I ordered some nail decorations a few weeks ago and today I finally got them in the mail, so I thought I would show you what I got. I also bought a new phone case, which I'll show you in another post later. I bought everything from miniinthebox.

I bought a pack of 12 different shaped and coloured decorations, there's yellow flowers, red hearts, silver rectangles etc. This was a bit of a disappointment because they were a bit different from the picture on the website, but you can't really expect much when buying from a website like this. The difference isn't that big, not exactly what I wanted but I'll still have use for all of these too! I also bought these simple different coloured studs.
I also bought these like silver-transparent rhinestones. They looked a lot better on the website but they're not too bad irl. I actually painted my nails today and used them, so I'll probably show some pictures tomorrow (or knowing me it'll probably take two weeks). Then I also bought silver square studs.

This is 12 different coloured striping tapes. To be honest I was probably the most excited about this because I now no longer need to use regular tape for nail art, YAY!

Since I got a new phone for Christmas I ordered two phone cases a week and a half ago. I didn't find a black studded phone case so I decided I should make one myself and bought a black case and some studs. I also bought this super cute cat phone case with a tail and ears (≧◡≦)
I bought a foundation brush too since I needed a new one and it was quite cheap.
